Permanent Urology Job in Virginia
129 bed hospital -Seeking a qualified, board-certified/board-eligible Urologist to serve its patients. The catchment area includes a population of 75,000 – 100,000 patients located in southwestern Virginia and southeastern Kentucky. There is a local 10 physician primary care network to supply referrals. The hospital has expressed a large amount of flexibility to fit the needs of the new physician. J-1 waivered candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis, if they can prove board eligibility (or board certification) having completed residency in the U.S. or Canada, certified, recognized and approved by the American Board of Urology. If board-eligible, board certification must be completed within five years of completion of residency for all candidates. NCH recently completed a three year $45 million Master Facility Plan. This plan includes a $12 million Surgical Services Suite to include a spacious Urology suite with Uroview-OEC-2800 urology table. PACS capable with side by side monitors and track lighting with procedure light. In addition there are four 600 SF surgery suites, high definition booms, 55 inch wide screen TVs for teaching and viewing, and non-heat emitting LED lighting. The Facility is supported by a very experienced surgical team and anesthesia team. -
