Our is hiring a medical doctor (MD or DO) to join our team. The medical doctor will provide clinical leadership to the clinical team and to the patients located in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota. Joining the team, will allow the medical doctor to experience a desired work-life balance and become a part of a company that is committed to serving the tribal communities. The medical doctor will be responsible for delivering health care services and treatments to the tribal members diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and the complications of diabetes. The medical doctor will become an integral part of our program, offering one-on-one patient interactions and telemedicine while providing an innovative, cutting-edge, and new approach to patients diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy.
The medical doctor will possess advanced clinical skills and expertise in patient history documentation, physical exam, and the clinical care management of patients as it relates to a diabetic program. The medical doctor will provide an FDA cleared neurostimulator device indicated for diabetic neuropathy. The medical doctor will provide expertise in the implantation of neurostimulator and follow-up to each patient. The medical doctor will educate and monitor patients regarding their chronic health conditions, treatment details and health goals related to our diabetic program. Our Practice program is designed to serve the tribal member’s diabetic concerns and provide education as it relates to diabetic neuropathy. Any medical needs outside of our diabetic neuropathy program, will be referred to the tribal members primary health care provider.
Medical Doctor Qualifications:
· Verification of an active South Dakota Medical Doctor licensure
· Must provide documentation of Full Practice Authority (FPA)
· Appropriate computer skills
· Exceptional verbal and written skills
· Active National Provider Identifier Number (NPI)
· Prescriptive authority
· Ability to be credentialed with all payers
Job Duties:
· Exceptional assessment, diagnose, and treatment of patients.
· Maximize patient volume, monitor patients, and provide follow-up on diagnostic test results.
· Formulate a treatment plan including ordering tests, perform treatment interventions and document patient encounters.
· Instruct and educate patients regarding medical conditions, health maintenance, treatment plans and related matters as appropriate.
· Lead a clinical team of NPs, PAs, and MAs.

Medical Doctor Schedule:
· 40-hour work week
· No nights or weekends
· Monday through Friday
