Permanent Family Practice (w/o OB) Job in Wenatchee, Washington

Wenatchee Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Overview Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of adult acute and chronic illnesses and or injuries to new and established patients, and provide follow-up care to those patients. Consultation to specialty services may be needed. The strict use of specialty service agreements is used to avoid inappropriate referrals to specialty care. Appointment times are set up for 30 minutes for established patients, and 60 minutes for new patients. However, additional patients may be added in, due to no shows or cancellations, making the slots slightly shorter. Providers are expected to see their patients who need urgent care services but are not of the acuity level to utilize the emergency department. Cancellation and no show slots will be utilized for those individuals. QUALIFICATIONS • M.D. or D.O. • Must have and maintain a current license to practice in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license must be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unrestricted. • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. • Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as certified by the American Heart Association. • Experience within a VA facility is preferred.
